Holiday home "IL Fonteno" is about 5 Km away from the center of Lovere (a famous touristic resort located on the north part of Iseo lake) which is an important touristic lake alborn and one of the largest in Europe.
Here you can find a docking ferries station leaving to the most fascinating locations beyond Iseo lake; particularly interesting Montisola (the bigger European lake island).

Very close also a famous SPA location, among the most important in this part of Italy, such as Darfo Boario baths.

Valle Camonica offer a rich heritage nature with its two protected areas: the Stelvio National Park and Natural Adamello Park.

For lovers of skiing and winter sports, Monte Campione, Ponte di Legno and Presolana (the most ancient and nobles winter sport stations among the Alpes) provides tracks, lifts for beginners and experts.

In this area, where the painter Girolamo Romanino leaved testimonials of its artistic itinerary, route of cultural interests are advised:
in the Parish of St. Peter (Tavernola Bergamasca) belongs to the artist the two frescos “The Madonna with child on the throne” and “Saints and Donors”, the shrine of St. Maria of snow (Pisogne) the wide cycle of painters and a various paint works in Breno and Bienno.

Near Capo di Ponte, the Camune engravings rock park (Unesco Heritage), founded in 1955 by the Archaeological Head Office of Lombardia, with about 35 hectares of extension along the left side of Oglio river: inside there are many routes, all well suited for walking, which gives the opportunity to closely watch the most part of engravings (more than 7000) testifying the great surprising and exciting prehistoric human presence on the Alps.
